About Torii

Torii was born from the desire to create a place where people – away from the daily hustle and bustle – can think clearly, feel deeply and connect and make lasting decisions or gain knowledge

Inspired by the symbolism of the Japanese torii gate, this place marks a transition: from the ordinary to the meaningful, from the noise to the essence. Torii aims to fulfil this same role as a gateway to tranquillity, focus, knowledge and renewed energy.

The founder, himself a photographer and visual artist, linked his love of art, nature and silence with a clear vision of future-oriented meeting.The house was built ecologically, thoughtfully decorated and completely surrounded by nature, heritage and artistic context. Each room invites both stillness and inspiration.

Mission

Torii aims to be a special place where meetings or get-togethers can be held in comfort and serenity in a peaceful, semi-domestic environment. Here, the focus is not only on meeting, but also on the mental and physical well-being of each participant.

Focusing on a healthy mind in a healthy body, Torii promotes a way of gathering that encourages deeper thinking, greater connection and deliberate decision-making or connection.

Just as the traditional torii is the symbolic gateway from the profane to the sacred, and from night to daylight, Torii aims to be a transition from the ordinary to the meaningful. Torii aims to guide companies from busyness to clarity, from purposeful meetings to conscious decisions, from efficient formation to intuitive mastery.

We believe that sustainable meetings arise in a healthy, stimulating environment where peace, focus and respect for people and nature come together. Torii is built on ecological principles: heating through a geothermal heat pump, cooling with aricos, non-stop ventilation with fresh air, hot water with a solar water heater, electricity through photovoltaic panels, reuse of rainwater and an ecologically maintained garden.
